Long Beach Seafood Restaurant (Main-ECP)

Friday-18/09/09 Went to Long Beach for Dinner. My plan was to just order a Steam Crab and an Asparagus as I was not that hungry. Anyway persuasive waitress suggested that the set menu now was good value for money so was psychoed by her to take the $93++ set menu for 2. She also instigated me to either choose Black Pepper Crab or Chilli Crab, no point going for Steam Crab.

BLACK PEPPER CRABS

Black Pepper Crabs suppose to be the highlight of the set menu. Tasty, not too peppery but it did not give me that Wow,Oomph factor that I was hoping for.
BBQ FISH

BBQ Nicola Fish or something like that, cannot remeber the name. Was told it was a fresh water fish and as I hated the Mud taste of fresh water fish was hesitant, however Waitress assured me there was no mud taste whatsoever and this BBQ fish is a very popular dish among the customers. Surprisingly they BBQ it pretty well, quite fresh, mud taste was barely there and was quite nice to dip it with the accompanying chilli sauce they provided.
OTAH

House made Otah was ordinary. Nothing special.
FRIED EE-FU NOODLES

Ee-Fu Noodles has always been made favourite carbo at a restaurant. However, this was on the dry and sweet side, stingy with the Chives (less than 10 pieces ?), less than 10 pieces of mushrooms too. I think they cut back on the ingredients. Disappointing. . .

CORN PUDDING

This was the complimentary Corn pudding dessert from the set menu. I think they incorporated the evaporated milk into the pudding. Not too sweet, just nice. Very nice finish to the meal as it adds a tinge of sweetness to your taste buds.

Overall not one of my best meals but full and satisfied. Total Damage of the meal for 2 pax is $115.
